Liv & Raquel Defeat The Tag Champs Again! The Raw Division Is Ready To Rumble

The Royal Rumble is this Saturday and things are as unpredictable as ever on the Raw side of things! Let’s dive in!

Jackie Redmond interviewed Lyra Valkyria, who had some major news: she’ll officially be entering the Royal Rumble. Before the moment could sink in, Ivy Nile crashed the scene. Gable declared that Ivy Nile would dethrone the Women’s Intercontinental Champion for him and the Alpha Academy. Oh, and by the way, they’re both entering the Rumble too. American Made then approached Otis, Akira Tozawa, and Maxxine Dupri. True to form, Chad ripped into them verbally, leaving Otis and company visibly unimpressed.

Bianca Belair & Naomi vs. Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez

The action kicked off with Bianca and Liv in the ring. Bianca immediately established dominance with a flurry of punches in the corner, but Liv used her craftiness to escape a slam and yanked Bianca down by the hair. Raquel tagged in, and the two powerhouses locked up in a display of strength. Suplex attempts were blocked until Raquel, with some help from Liv, started to take control. Naomi entered the fray, and a crisp double Russian legsweep followed by an elbowdrop scored a nearfall.

Momentum shifted again when Liv and Raquel worked together to splash Naomi in the corner, but Bianca and Naomi fired back with a double hiptoss on Liv and a splash/legdrop combo for two. All four women squared off, with Bianca and Naomi hitting stereo crossbodies as the show went to commercial.

Returning from the break, Raquel was firmly in control, using her power to dominate Naomi. A spinning front choke and some brutal outside-the-ring offense left Naomi reeling, but she fought back with a Heatseeker that sent Raquel tumbling to the floor. After a well-timed enziguri, Naomi tagged in Bianca, and the EST brought the energy. A dropkick, vertical suplex, and corner shoulderblock had Liv scrambling. Raquel tried to intervene but got sent to the outside for her trouble.

The action reached a fever pitch as Bianca’s spinebuster and handspring moonsault nearly sealed the deal. Liv capitalized on the chaos with a dropkick and tagged in Raquel, who delivered a fallaway slam to Naomi. Liv returned to hit a Codebreaker, but Bianca caught her with a KOD. Enter Dirty Dom, whose distraction allowed Liv and Raquel to regroup. Bianca took out Dom with a dive, but Raquel slammed Naomi onto the apron. A split-legged moonsault from Naomi seemed like it would end the match, but Raquel broke it up, and drops Naomi on the apron allowing Liv to get the pinfall victory.

Winners: Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez

Backstage, Cathy Kelley caught up with a battered but confident Rhea Ripley. Fresh off reminding Nia Jax who’s boss, Rhea brushed off the question of who might win the Royal Rumble—because to her, it doesn’t matter. Enter Bayley, who had her own declaration: she’s going to win the Rumble (again) and face Rhea at WrestleMania. Not one to shy away from a challenge, Rhea wished Bayley luck but before Bayley could exit, Iyo Sky appeared, teasing tension with her former teammate turned rival.

More news was announced as Zelina Vega has been moved to SmackDown, breaking her apart from the LWO.
