WWE NXT was at the Performance for the May 26, 2026 episode of NXT. Lola Vice defended the NXT Women’s Championship in the main event, Kelani Jordan continued building momentum, Jaida Parker picked up another win, and Zaria remained a looming problem around the Women’s North American Title scene.
Kelani Jordan vs. Wren Sinclair
This was not for Wren Sinclair’s Women’s Speed Championship, and Wren came in with her left leg wrapped due to injury. She still started fast, sending Kelani Jordan outside with a dropkick and following with a suplex.
Jordan eventually took over with a running clothesline to the back of the head, while Wren tried to slow her down by attacking the left arm. Jordan noticed Wren favoring the injured knee and wisely, if not exactly politely, started targeting it.
Wren fought back with a back body drop on the floor and later hit two suplexes during her comeback. She also avoided Jordan’s split-legged moonsault and nearly stole it with a rollup. Jordan went back to the knee, applied an STF, then adjusted the hold to bend Wren’s injured leg at a worse angle. Wren had no choice but to tap.
This was a good, competitive match, and it was nice to see Wren get a longer spotlight. Jordan’s push feels very real right now, and it would not be surprising if this eventually leads to her first NXT Women’s Championship opportunity.
Winner by submission: Kelani Jordan
Backstage, Tatum Paxley talked with Lizzy Rain about their issues with Zaria. Shiloh Hill walked in with his Mr. NXT clipboard campaign, because apparently democracy has reached NXT and brought stationery. Tristan Angels interrupted to trash Hill’s campaign. Lizzy left to find Zaria, and Hill went with her.
Later, Wren was checked by WWE Medical with Kendal Grey nearby, and she was told she would need an MRI. Lola Vice arrived with her titles, leading to Kali Armstrong trash-talking Wren and eyeing Lola’s championships. Vice told Kali she had just arrived and already had a big head. Kali said she would keep a close eye on Vice’s title match, and Vice said she would add Kali to the list of women she wants to knock out.
Jaida Parker vs. Layla Diggs
Before the match, Natalya approached Layla Diggs in the women’s locker room and thanked her for standing up to Jaida Parker. Nattie also said she would be in Diggs’ corner.
Parker controlled the early portion with a clothesline, but Diggs answered with a standing side kick and a leg drop. Parker came right back with two clotheslines, a front suplex into the mat, and her corner hip drop.
Diggs showed off some impressive athleticism, including a backflip into an elbow smash. She went for a moonsault off the top, but Parker moved out of the way. Parker then hit Hipnotic and followed with Déjà Vu for the win.
This was a solid win for Parker, while Diggs still got enough offense to show why NXT clearly sees something in her. The direction feels pretty obvious: Parker vs. Natalya is coming, so giving Jaida wins right now makes sense.
Winner by pinfall: Jaida Parker
Backstage, Izzi Dame prepared for her NXT Women’s Championship match while Niko Vance wondered where Shawn Spears was. Dame was not thrilled, and Niko said he hoped Spears was getting ready.
Kali Armstrong was later interviewed by Sarah Schreiber and teased that she could go after either title. Thea Hail interrupted and reminded her that it is not that easy. Kali said for her, it is reality, not a dream, and everyone will have to deal with it.
Meanwhile, Shiloh Hill asked Zaria to sign his Mr. NXT petition. Zaria wanted to know about Tatum Paxley, but Hill warned her about Lizzy Rain. Zaria called Rain collateral damage, which led to Rain attacking her backstage. Officials and GM Robert Stone broke up the fight.
NXT Women’s Championship: Lola Vice vs. Izzi Dame
Izzi Dame came out with Shawn Spears and Niko Vance, and she used her size early with shoulder tackles and a clothesline. Lola Vice answered with kicks, a crossface attempt, a spin kick, and a senton splash to the floor.
Spears grabbed Vice’s foot on the apron, which allowed Dame to hit a Backstabber. OTM then arrived and fought Spears and Vance to the back, leaving Dame annoyed that her backup had disappeared. A tragedy, truly. Imagine cheating and then losing your cheating assistants.
Dame controlled after the break, but Vice rallied with kicks and a running hip attack in the corner. Dame responded with a boot to the face and a sitout spinebuster for two. Dame also tackled Vice against the turnbuckle on the apron and tried to set her up on the top rope, but Vice countered into an armbar attempt.
The closing stretch got chaotic. Dame accidentally hit referee Adrian Butler with a running knee, and both women went down after a double clothesline. Vice later hit kicks and a spinning back fist, but Butler was slow to count, giving Dame time to survive. Dame then tried to use the title by tossing it at Vice and covering her, but that only got two as well.
Vice escaped a Guillotine Choke exchange, ducked a kick, and hit another spinning back fist to retain the title.
Winner by pinfall: Lola Vice
This was a strong main event. Vice looked like a resilient champion, and Dame continues to show real growth in bigger spots. A few years ago, this match probably would not have closed NXT. Now, it fit just fine.
Final Thoughts
NXT kept the women’s division moving with Kelani Jordan gaining momentum, Jaida Parker building toward Natalya and Lola Vice surviving a tough defense. Zaria also feels like she is closing in on Tatum Paxley’s Women’s North American Championship, so that issue is probably not staying polite for long.
