Lyra Valkyria ManHandles Becky Lynch As Stipulations Are Added To SummerSlam

In less than two week’s Lyra Valkyria will be getting another shot at the Women’s Intercontinental Title against Becky Lynch. On the July 21 episode of Raw, a couple of stipulations were added to the match.

In an in-ring segment, Lynch called out Valkyria to add her terms to the match. She says Valkyria is selfish because she is trying to be a double champion as she had a tag team title match with Bayley after this segment.

Lynch said that this will be Valkyria’s last chance at the title. If Valkyria doesn’t win the title back at SummerSlam, she can’t go for the title again as long as Lynch is champion. Valkyria agreed to these terms, but she noted she is tired of not pushing far enough. She adds that she wants the match to be No Count outs/No DQ, to which Lynch agreed to.

Lynch requested for Valkyria to shake her hand but this landed the champion in her own finisher as Valkyria gave her a ManHandle Slam.

Immediately following this segment, Valkyria had to team with her friend turned rival, Bayley. Bayley requested a Women’s Tag Team Title match with Valkyria as she was owed this from the match she never got to have at WrestleMania, thanks to Lynch.

The match against the champions, Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez went as well as one would expect with Dominik Mysterio lurking at ringside. It would actually be Lynch that ended up being the difference maker as she was hiding under the ring. She emerged and attacked Valkyria on the outside. This included running her into the steel steps. Without a partner to tag in, Bayley was left vulnerable. Rodriguez would connect with the Tejana Bomb to get the pin and retain the titles.
