Former AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May appears to have exited the AEW promotion. Her profile has been removed from the AEW website which usually indicates a departure from the company. May worked with AEW since 2023 and had what many considered the feud of 2024 with Toni Storm. They ended their rivalry in March at Revolution in a Hollywood Ending Match. May has not been seen on AEW programming since.
According to a report by PWInsider, they can confirm that WWE sources over the last week have said they expect her to start there in the near future. Fightful Select has also reported they expect May in WWE according to their sources. They add that AEW was well aware she would be leaving and WWE say the wheels have been in motion. However, at the time of this writing she has not put pen to paper.
May debuted in 2019 and worked in STARDOM prior to AEW.
