Maxxine Dupri is getting a lot of TV time lately in a feud against Becky Lynch. A feud that has shown Dupri leaps and bounds improved in the ring.
However, back in March 2024, it was more character work that was getting Dupri over. She was at the time in a feud against Candice LeRae. LeRae was with Indi Hartwell and turning heel through the process of not gettinf any victories as a sweet babyface. During an episode of Raw, LeRae got very personal with Dupri, bringing up her late brother.
LeRae told Dupri during an unmic’d moment that it is a good thing her dead brother isn’t here to see what an embarrassment she has become. This left many fans shocked in that moment.
In a new interview with Chris Van Vliet, Dupri explains this was 100% her idea. She didn’t think it would be heard so well tho because LeRae wasn’t speaking into a mic. The downside of it all was that she wishes she had warned her parents it was going to be said.
