Maya World defeated Athena in the semi-finals on AEW Collision on Saturday. Maya pulled out the upset, halting the forever ROH Women’s World Champion from making it to the Owen Hart Cup finals once again. Moné and Athena attacked Maya post match.
Maya will be facing Mercedes Moné at Forbidden Door in the finals. Moné won last year’s Owen Hart Cup.
Also on Collision, Kris Statlander won her qualifier for Survival of the Fittest on July 1 to crown a new TBS Champion. She defeated Mina Shirakawa. This puts her so far with Hikaru Shida and Persephone who have qualified. Three more names to go.
