Mercedes Martinez has one last shot at the SHINE Championship

SHINE Wrestling original, Mercedes Martinez, will have one last shot at the SHINE Championship on Dec. 13. This will be at the SHINE 63 event where she will take on the current champion Allysin Kay.

Martinez has faced Kay numerous times before but this time will have bigger stakes on the line. If Martinez does not defeat Kay to become SHINE Champion for the first time in her career then she will leave SHINE Wrestling.

Kay is currently in her second reign as champion at 219-days.

If Martinez loses where do you see her working in the future? She has done matches for both NXT and AEW.

This match will be one to see this weekend along with the previously reported tournament for the vacant SHINE Nova Championship. The tournament will take place over both SHINE 63 & 64 events on Dec. 13 & 14.
