The ROH Women’s World Champion and AEW talent Mercedes Martinez is currently sidelined with an injury.
In the most recent AEW media call promoting the All Out event, Tony Khan confirmed this news but did not disclose the nature of the injury. He responded to a question on if ROH would be represented at All Out by Wrestle Zone.
Martinez last wrestled for ROH at Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view event on July 23. At this event, she successfully defended her title against Serena Deeb.
Martinez followed that up with an event at an indie promotion on July 24. She has not been in the ring for AEW since July 16 when she performed on Dark.
The turnaround for her injury is said that she will be back soon.
