Bayley is set to take on IYO SKY tonight for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania XL.
The Hugger turned Role Model hasn’t held a piece of WWE gold since she ironically lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Sasha Banks (Mercedes Moné) at Hell in a Cell 2020.
Despite Bayley being out for a year due to a knee injury, she has regularly worked since SummerSlam 2022 when she formed Damage CTRL. Now on the oust of the group, she faces SKY in hopes of winning back some long overdue gold.
Mercedes Moné posted some words of encouragement to her best friend and former tag team partner on her social media.
“Be so good they can’t ignore you because you we’re born to do this @itsBayleyWWE”
Moné is currently signed to AEW and has her eyes set on gold as well. She intends on facing the TBS Champoon after Dynasty whether it be Julia Hart or Willow Nightingale.
