Mercedes Mone needs to find some friends.
On the Dec. 13 episode of AEW Collision, the TBS Champion and CEO of AEW, Mercedes Mone, found herself in quite a pickle. Mone crashed the Babe of Wrath’s AEW Women’s World Tag Team Title Celebration. Already joined in the ring by the Timeless Lovebombs (who were trying to get a rematch for the tag team titles), the four “losers,” as Mone called them, did some quick math. This was after the CEO reminded them that she led a team to defeat all four women in the ring at Blood and Guts.
According to Harley Cameron, there are four of them, but fewer for Mone. Willow Nightingale also reminded how unliked Mone is and that nobody wants to be her friend. Mone says that the CEO doesn’t need any friends, but she will be bringing some killers to team with.
Set for the Dec. 17 episode of Dynamite in Manchester, United Kingdom, it will be an eight-woman tag team match as Mercedes will be finding three partners to team up with against Babes of Wrath and Timeless Lovebombs.
Since the posting of this article, AEW has confirmed that Mone’s teammates will be Marina Shafir, Megan Bayne, and Athena.
