Mickie James and Kiera Hogan are going from opponents to teammates as they will come together on this week’s NWA Powerrr in the search for gold. They will be challenging the NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champions The Hex (Allysin Kay & Marti Belle) in a championship match.
James and Hogan stood across the ring from each other at Hard Times 2 earlier this month with the IMPACT Knockouts World Title on the line. James retained. James is a 10x Women’s Champion between her time in IMPACT and WWE, but can she add her first tag team gold to her repertoire? James will be defending the Knockouts Title on Jan. 8 in a rematch at Hard to Kill against Deonna Purrazzo.
Hogan, however, is no stranger to winning tag team championships. She has held the Knockouts Tag Team Championships on two separate occasions as one half of Fire ‘N Flava (along with Tasha Steelz) and the WOW Tag Team Championships along with Diamante (Adrenaline).
As for The Hex, they are currently both the NWA tag champs along with being the SHINE Tag Team Champions. Will they be able to continue to be double champions or will Mickie and Kiera pull out the win this Tuesday?
