Mickie James returned to action on this week’s episode of NWA Powerrr in the main event. She faced Natalia Markova who has made a new friend and ally in Taryn Terrell. Despite Terrell’s assistance, James was able to put Markova away with a tornado DDT.
Prior to their bout, James cut a promo about the match and hinted at having her eyes on the Burke, the NWA World Women’s Title. The current number one contender for Kamille’s title is KiLynn King but James may be next in line.
Also on this week’s episode, the tag titles were defended as The Hex were challenged by Madi Wrenkowski & Kenzie Paige.
This match had Madi doing everything she could to cheat to win gold and trying to convince Paige to go along with her. Paige seemed apprehensive throughout the match. The final moments of the match had Madi telling Paige to hit Allysin Kay with a chair. While undecided on what to do, Kay rolled her up with an O’Connor roll to get the pin.
