Mickie James will forever be a legend in the wrestling industry. She just received her flowers for her time with TNA as she has been inducted into TNA’s Hall of Fame. She has spent equal time with WWE, but a Hall of Fame induction there hasn’t occurred, yet.
While speaking with Busted Open Radio,
“Of course it’s nice, of course it’s nice,” James said when asked if she’d like to be in the WWE Hall of Fame. “I think we all like that appreciation back from the company to say, hey, what you did mattered and we value you, and it is that tip of the hat of like, we know that you put in your licks, we know that you took some sh*t and this, that and the third but, we actually appreciate you and respect you and so, I think that that’s always something where yeah, but, I was having a conversation with someone, they were like, ‘Oh, would you do one more run?’ I was like, ‘Hell yeah. I could do one more run. I got it in me,’ and they’re like, ‘Oh, what do you have to prove?’ And I go, ‘You know what? I’ve been really blessed. I think I set out and achieved all my goals. I don’t really have anything else to prove.’ I don’t have anything else to prove. I think I’ve proved everything I could prove and if anything, it would be like, oh, I can still go with these girls but, you know I can. I can whoop ‘em — all — with a backhand.” (Fightful/Transcript)
James has wrestled in five events on the indie scene in the past two years. She stepped away from TNA in October 2023.
