On the Jan. 10 episode of AEW Collision, Lady Frost made her return. This was her first match in AEW since June. She faced Mina Shirakawa in a losing effort.
Just before the match began, it appears Shirakawa has a secret admirer. She received flowers. This was a distraction to her, as Frost got the first kick in. Frost kicked the flowers from the ring and took it to Shirakawa. She locked Frost in a figure four leglock, which gave Frost no choice but to tap out! Shirakawa returned to the flowers and carried them away, as we all wondered about their source.
The final moments of the match had Shirakawa locking Frost in a figure four leglock, which caused Frost to tap out. Shirakawa returned to the flowers and carried them away, without fans knowing who they were from.
Elsewhere on the show, a six woman trios match took place. The champions, AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander and the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions the Babes of Wrath defeated Hyan, Maya World, and VertVixen. The final moments had VertVixen rolling in and escaping Staturday Night Fever, however, Statlander nailed a kick to the head followed by Staturday Night Fever to get the three count.
Post match, Thekla’s voice appeared. Thekla verbally attacked all three champions. She says she doesn’t need friends as she has her Sisters. Dynamite this week will have the Babes of Wrath and Statlander taking on the Triangle of Madness.

There was also some women’s interaction at the end of the men’s trios match. Zayda Steel shoved Marina Shafir, but Steel didn’t see Megan Bayne join her tag team partner in the ring. Shafir booted Steel right into a running powerbomb by Bayne. Bayne, Shafir, and Penelope Ford posed over the fallen Steel.
