At Hell in a Cell last weekend, Bianca Belair survived and is still the SmackDown Women’s Champion after risking it all in the demonic structure against Bayley. Leading up to that event and match, Bayley hosted a Ding Dong, Hello! on the June 11 episode of SmackDown. Her guest was Seth Rollins.
Things turned bad for the Role Model as Cesaro appeared and went after Rollins, destroying her set in the process. This allowed for Belair to finally get in a laugh at Bayley’s expense. At Hell in a Cell, Rollins defeated Cesaro.
On tonight’s SmackDown, all four of these individuals will be in the ring at the same time as Bayley teams up with Seth Rollins to take on Bianca Belair and Cesaro.
We saw on Monday’s RAW that there will be eight women in this year’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Four women qualified on RAW (Alexa Bliss, Nikki Cross, Naomi, and Asuka) so where does that leave the women for SmackDown? At this time there hasn’t been a qualifying match announced for tonight’s show but that could change.
