MJ Jenkins is getting back in the ring for the first time in nearly two years. Her opponent will be Trish Adora at GCW’s For the Culture.
Jenkins, who was previously signed to WWE under the NXT brand, was released by WWE in April 2020. Despite not formally making her debut on televised NXT programming, Jenkins was frequent on live events for the brand pre-pandemic. She participated in the 2018 Mae Young Classic losing to Rhea Ripley in the first round. Since her release, Jenkins has worked one match in July 2020 for AEW in a tag team bout at Fight for the Fallen alongside Kenzie Paige in a losing effort.
Also previously reported for this event on April 1 will be Knockouts World Champion Tasha Steelz defending her title against Big Swole. Briana Brandy (formerly known as B-Fab) will be at the event in the corner of HitMakerz (formerly Hit Row) as they face Shane Taylor Promotions. Brandy worked with Jenkins in NXT on their live shows.
