Chelsea Green has been just one of many names that are being reported in the discussion to bring back to WWE. Over the past week, we have had reports on Mia Yim and Tegan Nox as well. Green was first mentioned by sources such as WrestleVotes and PWInsider, but now Fightful has been added to the reports.
In a new report from Fightful Select, they have also been told that Green was one of many female names discussed to bring back to the company. They haven’t been told that a deal is official or that a return date has been set as of yet. Those that Fightful spoke to said that WWE was hoping to restock the women’s division with several TV-ready, experienced women’s wrestlers. One of which is Emma who returned recently.
Fightful reached out to Green who stated she hadn’t been contacted for a return, and that she noted she still has NWA, Wrestlecade, and other indie bookings scheduled well into March 2023.
Green has been working with various promotions including IMPACT, NWA, ROH, and more since she was released from WWE in 2020. She has not been signed to contracts with other promotions during these appearances. Since her latest run with IMPACT, she became the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles with Deonna Purrazzo collectively known as VXT.
Green is scheduled to take on Mickie James this Thursday on IMPACT! and it was reported by PWInsider that she had filmed her last tapings for IMPACT.
