The new match is Beth Phoenix vs. Michelle McCool and Layla. Beth is unable to fight them off as Layla ends up getting the pin. The stipulation is so that Michelle McCool wins back the title. There is some confusion as to whether Layla or Michelle McCool captured the WWE Women’s Title at the Smackdown taping on Tuesday. The duo defeated Beth Phoenix in a handicap title match. Layla scored the pin and celebrated with the title, and our correspondents are split as to which woman is the new WWE Women’s Champion.

She got the pin held the title and walked to the back with it… I didn’t hear Tony Chimmel’s announcement, but she was holding the title the entire time, so I assume she is the champ now.
