New Knockouts Tag Team Champions Crowned At Slammiversary

The Influence has been dethroned as the Knockouts World Tag Team Champions as their 106-days as champions have come to an end. At Slammiversary, Tenille Dashwood & Madison Rayne weren’t able to hold onto the gold as Rosemary & Taya Valkyrie are the new tag champs.

After Valkyrie sends Dashwood to the outside, Team Ragnarok picks up the win off of Rosemary delivering the Skyward Suplex on Rayne to get the victory.

This is Rosemary’s second time as tag team champion (the first time as part of Decay with Havok) and Valkyrie’s first. Valkyrie also holds the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship and is the inaugural MLW Women’s Featherweight Champion.

In addition to adding tag team gold to her current mountain of accomplishments, Valkyrie called out the AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa at this weekend’s AAA TripleMania XXX. Rosa has accepted the challenge.
