Let’s cease this fan war once and for all.
Both former Divas Champions Nikki Bella and AJ Lee are now back in WWE and are also currently on the same brand, Raw. While speaking on the Nikki & Brie Show podcast, Nikki discussed catching up with Lee backstage at Raw.
Nikki states, “Aj’s back, and so she and I were chatting for a bit backstage……It was great talking to her, it just took me back when she and I was chatting — took me back to back in the day. I actually hope we get a moment, because when you think about it, everyone’s talking about it on the internet and it’s true, we were so much of each others most important stories at that time – with the Divas Championship (before she had left). And even with you (Brie) and Paige it was so much about us. So the fact that we both are there, we have to have a moment. I feel that even this Monday we should have a moment backstage, but in who we are as characters….but obviously they are focused with that…but I am hoping at some point we have have that interaction, because I know the fans would love that. And it would be fun.”
Nikki and AJ are the two longest reigning champions in Divas Championship history. Nikki defeated AJ’s solo longest reign at 300 days in her second reign when AJ had 295 from her first reign. However, AJ with her three combined reigns were at 405 days making her the Diva who held the belt the most overall days.
