Maxxine Dupri has decided that she is ready for match number three with the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion. After a couple of weeks of training and ensuring she makes her next chance count, she has decided she is ready for Lynch. She has two prior victories over her, one in a countout (without the title on the line) and one as a DQ (with the title on the line).
After telling Adam Pearce she was ready for the match, he agreed that it will take place next week at Madison Square Garden. The title will be on the line. After Pearce walked away, Lynch appeared and punched Dupri sending her to the floor. The champ told the challenger, “welcome to the big time.”
The friendship between Nikki Bella and the Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer is over before it really got started. Last week, they teamed together; this week, Nikki said she wants the title.
On the Nov. 10 episode of Raw, Vaquer had her first title defense against Raquel Rodriguez. The Judgment Day have been battling against Nikki and Vaquer for some weeks now, both in singles action and tag team. After Roxanne Perez pinned Nikki for a second week in a row, Rodriguez earned a title match (although I’m not sure I understood the logic behind that). Vaquer was able to retain her title against Rodriguez with a corkscrew moonsault despite Perez’s distraction on the outside. Nikki was in the corner of Vaquer to counter Perez’s advances.
After the match, Perez went after Vaquer before Nikki made the save. After clearing the ring of the Judgment Day, Nikki and Vaquer embraced. However, behind Vaquer’s back, Nikki grabbed the Women’s World Title belt and used it to knock down the champ, turning heel in the process.
Nikki then tore off her red shirt, revealing a black shirt underneath.
