Nixon Newell & Miranda Alize Speak Their Side Of Recent Events: “No Bad Blood On Either Side”

So apparently, nothing bad happened.

Over the past 24 hours, it has been reported by several sources that Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize left AEW Collision on Saturday after originally being booked to face TayJay. The duo responded to the reports on a Twitch stream Sunday evening.

According to them, they went to Dynamite last Wednesday and were told there wasn’t anything for them, but there’d be something on Saturday. They showed up and were told after doors opened that they’d be wrestling TayJay. They had ideas for the match, and were then told it would be three minutes.

They felt that after the promo they had cut on their first appearance to set up the match, three minutes wouldn’t benefit anyone involved. It wasn’t a “f*ck you, we’re leaving” situation. Those they spoke to were in agreement that three minutes wouldn’t benefit anyone. The information was relayed to who it needed to be, and were then told they’re free to go home if they’d like.

Nixon noted that there is no bad blood on either side, and she doesn’t know where the rumor of a disagreement with Megan Bayne came from. Sources from AEW told Fightful about some disagreement between Bayne and Newell/Alize last week during their match.
