Tonight’s NXT is slated to have no live matches according to Dave Meltzer from The Wrestling Observer. There has also been no preview for the show besides Triple H and Tom Phillips will be hosting the show.
More than likely because it is NXT, they will be focusing on the big WrestleMania match between champion Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair. Based on the shake-up from the COVID-19 pandemic, TakeOver will no longer be taking place in Tampa, Fla.
The original match for that event was a six-woman Ladder match to determine a number one contender for the NXT Women’s Title. Tonight’s show originally was supposed to have a qualifying match for a spot in that high profiled match. Candice LeRae was supposed to face off against Mercedes Martinez.
