NXT is tonight and the Breakout Tournament is continuing.
Last week, the first-ever women’s Breakout Tournament took place and had two women advanced. The winner will earn a future NXT Women’s Title match. Nikkita Lyons and Fallon Henley both advanced in their respective matches.
Tonight, Tatum Paxley will be taking on Lash Legend in a round one match. The preview does not specify if the last round one match will take place tonight but if it does, it is Roxanne Perez vs. Kiana James.
The current NXT Women’s Champion, Mandy Rose, just surpassed 200-days as champion. She and the rest of Toxic Attraction have been having issues with Wendy Choo and Roxanne Perez as of late. Toxic Attraction won a tag team match against Choo and Perez last week.
Outside of Choo/Perez, it appears that perhaps Indi Hartwell may be next to fight Rose as the champion mocked her last week.
Alba Fyre made her gimmick change introduction last week. She defeated Amari Miller last week. What will be next for her?
Natalya continued her time back in NXT last week with the anticipated match between her and Cora Jade. Nattie came out with the win but Jade earned her respect by not tapping out. Will Nattie continue in NXT moving forward?
NXT is heading towards its next big event In Your House which takes place on Saturday, June 4. Currently, there have been no women’s matches booked for the event at this time.
Last week served all women’s matches, hopefully, a few will come out of tonight’s show.
