The NXT Women’s Championship will be defended on tonight’s show as Raquel Gonzalez is set to face Xia Li. Li approached Gonzalez last week and essentially demanded a title shot. The match was then instantly booked. Will Li be able to dethrone Gonzalez or will the reign continue?
Also planned for tonight’s show is Franky Monet in action. Her opponent hasn’t been named at this time, but so far Monet is undefeated in NXT. She was there to pick up the pieces of the Robert Stone Brand last week when Aliyah attacked Robert Stone and left the brand after another loss. This left Jessi Kamea alone with Stone.
Mandy Rose shocked everyone last Tuesday when she made an appearance on NXT. Standing at the top of the ramp reminiscent of Trish Stratus, Rose stood and watched Sarray defeated Gigi Dolin. She then ran into Monet with The Robert Stone Brand later in the night and commented that the group looks like it has a new leader. What could Rose want on NXT?
