NXT’s last show before their TakeOver:36 event is tonight. At TakeOver on Sunday, Aug. 22, the NXT Women’s Championship will be on the line as Raquel Gonzalez defends against Dakota Kai.
The two former teammates will have a sit-down interview tonight.
A mixed-tag team match is also set for tonight. Robert Stone and Jessi Kamea will represent the Robert Stone Brand with Franky Monet in their corner as they face the team of Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis. Last week, Kamea and Monet were watching InDex’s first date when Stone walked up insinuating that he could take out Lumis easily. This gave Monet an idea to have this match.
Last week Gigi Dolin achieved her first win since joining NXT. Alongside Jacy Jayne and with Mandy Rose‘s tutelage, the duo seems to be ready to put the locker room in check. Will we get any further follow-up tonight?
And where are the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions? Will we see Io Shirai and Zoey Stark on tonight’s show?
