Tonight is all about the fall out from TakeOver that took place on Sunday. Candice LeRae, although she tried her best with the “Gargano way”, was unable to capture the NXT Women’s Title from Io Shirai.
Shirai has more problems ahead of her as both Toni Storm and Ember Moon made their returns at TakeOver in some capacity. Storm showed up on the screen letting Shirai know she is back and will be coming for her title and Moon made her return after over a year out of action due to injury.
Earlier today, Moon was announced with starting the show tonight. It appears that Kushida and Tommaso Ciampa will now start the show. Moon is still being advertised for the show.
We also heard Rhea Ripley on the Pre-show of TakeOver: 31 say that she was still ready to take on Shirai to become champion again.
