Following last week’s announcement for TakeOver: WarGames, we are just two shows away from that event. We already know the captains of the teams will be Shotzi Blackheart and Candice LeRae.
Last week in a match where Ember Moon and Toni Storm defeated Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez, tensions erupted after the match. LeRae and Indi Hartwell attacked Moon and Storm and delivered them back to Kai & Gonzalez to inflict pain.
Although it can be guessed who will fill both teams for WarGames it hasn’t been officially announced.
For tonight’s advertised match there will be revenge on the mind of Moon as she takes on LeRae.
As for what else could be in store for tonight’s show, Xia Li has an interesting storyline going on. Without even been present for the past two weeks, we know thanks to Boa that there is a woman behind the letters that Li keeps getting. Will we get any further insight on this tonight?
Lastly, Rhea Ripley lost her chance at becoming a two-time NXT Women’s Champion last week as Io Shirai retained her title after a hellacious fight. What will Ripley have to say in response to that loss?
