NXT TakeOver: Portland Live Coverage 02.16.20

We are just moments away from the first NXT TakeOver event of the year. This event will host two women’s matches. One will be a very personal feud that has been building since the last TakeOver event in November. Dakota Kai and Tegan Nox will settle their differences in a Street Fight.

The second match is for the NXT Women’s Championship. Bianca Belair won a number one contender’s Battle Royal in January to earn this shot at Rhea Ripley‘s championship. Ripley is still a fairly new champion as she dethroned the long reign of Shayna Baszler in December. Although her time with the belt has been short so far, we don’t want to count out Belair.

Belair has been a huge force in the women’s division as of late and now just may be her time to finally grab some gold. Ripley may have to have her head on a swivel though as Charlotte Flair could be waiting to attack. Flair has yet to accept Ripley’s challenge at WrestleMania and now may be the opportune time to make a statement.
