The NXT Women’s Title will be defended on the March 17 episode of NXT coming from Houston. Jacy Jayne will defend the gold against both Zaria and Sol Ruca. Now that both Zaria and Ruca have screwed each other over in title matches, they both get a shot in a Triple Threat.
At Vengeance Day, a segment took place in the ring to set this up. Zaria was wearing a “Sol’s Ex” shirt after turning on her recently costing her the title match against Jayne. After Ruca was last to join the ring, Robert Stone booked the three in an upcoming match.
Fatal Influence all went after Ruca before Zaria pulled them off of her. Ruca went for a Sol Snatcher perhaps on both Zaria and Jayne but only Zaria was caught as Fallon Henley pushed Jayne out of the way. Lainey Reid hit Ruca with a running knee taking her out.
Fatal Influence stood tall.
