Raquel Knocks Out Nikki Bella On Raw To Challenge Stephanie Vaquer

Stephanie Vaquer finds herself in need of a next opponent after defeating and retaining the Women’s World Title against Nikki Bella at Survivor Series. However, Nikki says she isn’t finished with Vaquer yet.

On the Dec. 8 episode of Raw, Vaquer took to the ring. She says she isn’t someone who talks to much, as she says she speaks through actions. She addresses Nikki saying that the women’s division today is different than 15 years ago. As she states she is at the top of the division, Nikki made her way out.

After trolling the Kansas City crowd, Nikki let’s Vaquer know that they aren’t done. She makes her way up to the ring apron and says she demands a rematch. Before any response can be given, Raquel Rodriguez jumps the barricade. She pulls Nikki off the ring apron and throws her into the ring post, laying out the Hall of Famer. Rodriguez confronts Vaquer telling her to name the time and place so she can kick her ass and take her title.

Moments later, Rodriguez returns to the Judgment Day backstage. Liv Morgan seemed surprised that Raquel stepped up to Vaquer without mentioning it to her. Raquel said she didn’t think she had to run everything by her. Morgan said of course not, and is happy to see her become champion. When Raquel leaves, Morgan tells Roxanne Perez that they’ll have to go after the tag team titles now.

There were two women’s matches on Raw this week. First, IYO SKY took on Kairi Sane. The Women’s Tag Team Champions, The Kabuki Warriors (Sane and Asuka) haven’t been having the best of luck since becoming champions. The bad luck continued in this match. As Rhea Ripley took out Asuka over the timekeeper area on the outside, Sane found herself without any help. SKY was hung up in the ropes as Sane was positioning for another stomp. SKY, however, countered with a leg scissors take down which allowed her to hit the Over the Moonsault to get the win.

The other women’s match had Perez taking on Lyra Valkyria. Both women had respective assistance at ringside as Bayley and Morgan joined their respective teammates. Both would play a role in the matches finish. Morgan hopped up on the ring apron to cause a distraction which led to Bayley pulling her down onto the apron. Perez, in turn, would take out Bayley. Morgan still laying on the apron would kick Valkyria in the face unbeknown to the referee. This opened the door for Perez to hit Pop Rox and pick up the win.

Another vignette aired of Maxxine Dupri training with Nattie. This time, Dupri is the aggressor and is shown making various talents tap out while screaming “another one” to get her next opponent. Her next opponent eventually became Nattie, which she was able to force to tap out. At the end of the video, Dupri told Nattie, “Again.”

Ivy Nile will be challenging Dupri for the Women’s IC Title. In a promo at Raw, during the commercial break, Nile says she has been training like a champion this entire time and just because Dupri is a champion doesn’t make her better. She adds that Dupri has never beaten her, she will never beat her, and next week, Dupri is going to drop the ball just as the Kansas City Chiefs did last night.
