New TNA Knockout Raquel is accusing an opponent of taking a match too far.
The former Tough Enough competitor has spoken to TMZ Sports about being assaulted by an opponent during a match last weekend in Miami, Florida.
Raquel tells TMZ that real kicks and punches from her opponent – a woman named Regina – lead to bruises, a cracked tooth and a hairline fracture on the left side of her jaw. She admits that she considered pressing charges, but decided against it.
When asked about why it happened, Raquel chalked the assault up to jealousy, citing her TNA contract and the fact that she sports the name Raquel, which was being used by another woman working for the promotion. This woman, she says, warned in a pre-match promo that the match would be a “fight.”
