One night removed from Backlash and Asuka is still the RAW Women’s Champion. Asuka defended her title against Nia Jax last night and the match ended in a double count out. Neither woman seemed to want that outcome, but nevertheless Asuka still retains her title.
As a result of this decision, a rematch has been granted for tonight and Jax will have another shot at Asuka with the title on the line. Charlotte Flair has been circling the RAW Women’s Champion ever since she lost her NXT Women’s Championship, so I expect her to make an appearance.
