As we get closer to live fans back in the seats for RAW, we take to the Thunderdome for a six-woman tag team match set for tonight’s show. July 12 will be the last show in the Thunderdome with fans returning for SmackDown on July 16 and moving forward.
Tonight, RAW Women’s Champion will team up with Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke as they take on the team of Charlotte Flair and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Natalya and Tamina. Ripley has had a prior rivalry ignited with Flair ever since WrestleMania in April. The champion caused a disqualification during their last encounter at Hell in a Cell and they will battle once again at Money in the Bank with the title on the line.
As for the tag team champions, Natalya and Tamina have been trading insults back and forth with Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke for a number of weeks now. Natalya took a win against Mandy during the Hell in the Cell Kick Off show and it is only a matter of time before these two teams are booked for a title match (mostly because there are no other teams).
Speaking on Money in the Bank, we found out last week that there will be eight women in this year’s ladder match. Four women qualified last week for the red brand and they are Naomi, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, and Nikki Cross. Cross debuted a new look last week and it helped her get a win alongside Bliss.
Two names that were surprisingly not added to the match were Doudrop and Eva Marie who lost their qualifying match last week to Asuka and Naomi. What will the Eva-Lution have to say about this on tonight’s show?
