The former NXT Women’s North American Champion, Blake Monroe, has been discussed for a call-up, according to a report by Fightful Select. There have been discussions that her immediate plans could be changing, even as early as this week.
Monroe started with WWE on the NXT brand last June. Coming from AEW under the Mariah May name, Monroe was already well known. She went on to defeat Zaria (on behalf of Sol Ruca) at Halloween Havoc in October to win the NXT Women’s North American Title.
Monroe shockingly lost the title to Thea Hail in December after a botched pinfall/result. She will be getting her rematch on Jan. 6 at NXT’s New Year’s Evil.
