The idea of NXT Europe is back in discussions and according to a recent report by PWInsider, it is strongly contending for a late 2025 launch.
For those who may remember, NXT UK closed its doors in the back half of 2022. During that time, when the world continued to have a lot of uncertainty, the idea of creating a NXT Europe was discussed. Since then, things had cooled off on the idea.
The report further states that WWE has recently intensified its efforts to scout and sign wrestlers from across the globe. This internal shift has sparked renewed speculation that WWE is preparing for NXT Europe. The timing aligns with several recent global recruitment initiatives, including the company’s tryouts in UK held during its European tour. If this does pan out and is launched, it would mark a path for wresters across Europe to have a clearer path for WWE.
WWE has shown interest in Spanish talent Zozaya, France talent Aigle Blanc and Italy talent Mike D. Vecchio.
There has not been any official date announced.
