WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley underwent knee surgery.
Ripley has not been in the ring since her match against Jade Cargill at Clash in Italy at the end a May. A match she retained the WWE Women’s Title in. At SummerSlam last weekend, WWE crowned an interim Champion as Chelsea Green won a five-woman ladder match.
Ripley has taken to social media to give us an update.

After just under 14 year in wrestling and doing sports my entire life… It’s caught up to me. Surgery was never a first option for me, but it got to the point that it was needed…

I’ve survived, now it’s time to start thriving again so I can get back to what I love to do!
