Rhea Ripley has overcome the storm, as she defeated Jade Cargill at Sunday’s WrestleMania 42. This ends Cargill’s reign at 170 days.
After the champion was dominating a good portion of the match, it became a numbers game for Cargill as Michin and B-Fab appeared for the distractions and interferences. IYO SKY would come out and help, taking out Michin and B-Fab and distracting Cargill herself.
The final moments had a back and forth attempts and counters between Riptide, Jaded, and finally a Riptide for Ripley to get the win.
This is Ripley’s fourth world title. She has won two titles at other Mania’s from Asuka and Charlotte Flair and one on Raw against Liv Morgan.
