All is right for the babyfaces, but not so much for Judgment Day.
On Jan. 24 at Saturday Night’s Main Event, RHIYO retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against Judgment Day’s Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez. The final moments of the match had Raquel Rodriguez interfering to help out her stablemates. However, the odds were even when the Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer returned.
Vaquer had been suffering a minor ankle injury which was only made worse by Rodriguez’s attacks in weeks past. With Vaquer busy with Rodriguez, Morgan hit SKY with ObLIVion, however, Ripley was the legal woman. Ripley hit Morgan with Riptide to retain.
WWE Women’s United States Champion Giulia and Kiana James are next to face RHIYO after winning a Triple Threat number one contenders match on Friday’s SmackDown. That match also included Nia Jax & Lash Legend and Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss. James pinned Bliss to win the shot at the titles.
