Hola a todxs and welcome to the honor club! This week we had a series of title matches involving the ROH Women’s World Television Champion Red Velvet and the ROH Women’s Pure Rules Champion Deonna Purrazzo!
Zayda Steel had her first title match as an all-elite wrestler, taking on the reigning ROH Women’s World Television Champion Red Velvet. Flying as high as ever, Zayda impressed, getting close to winning after a couple of near falls. Regardless of her valiant efforts, Steel got cooked by La Chef after a hard kick to the head to retain her title.
Ahead of their main event match Trish Adora sent a message to her opp and the First ROH Women’s Pure Rules Champion Deonna Purrazzo letting her know that her luck ends tonight.
The champion responded in typical Virtuossa fashion, letting Adora know that things would be done in the “Purerrazzo way”
We also had appearances by familiar faces, including Isla Dawn with the Grizzled Young Veterans, while NJPW’s Johnnie Robbie had a match against CMLL’s Persephone. With Perse being victorious after a crucifix powerbomb.
Finally, in the main event, Deonna Purrazzo had her first successful title defense, taking on STP’s Trish Adora. With bad blood brewing ever since the title’s inception, both came to the field not only to win but to hurt each other as much as they could, with Trish working on Purrazzo’s arm throughout the match.
Yet it was Adora who ended up tapping out and joining the minions in a post-match attack. Only for the Forever Champion Athena to close the show, she sent a message to Deonna and to Maya’s World, setting up a proving ground match for next week.
