Hello everyone, and welcome to the Honor Club! This week we had another double feature (for Thursday and Friday) with title matches featuring your favorite ROH champions!
Lacey Lane opened the show backstage taking about her “must see” CMLL Title match against the current CMLL World Women’s Champion Persephone. The handcarved by the gods champion told us more about herself letting Lacey (and us) know that she was ready for a fight!
With her eyes set on the prize Lacey tried all her tricks and best (wrestling) moves to take the title off Perse. But the mexican powerhouse was not ready for her reign to let up winning the match with her lifting powerbomb.
The Skyflight & Grizzled Young Veterans beef continue with a mixed tag match involving Zayda Steel and Isla Dawn with Steel and the rest of Skyflight getting their lick back on Dawn and the GYV.
Next up the ROH Women’s Pure Champion Deonna Purrazzo gave a chance to ROH’s Robyn Renegade to prove her ground to earn a title match for her title all under Pure Rules.
In one of her most competitive matches in a long while the renegade twin was unsuccesful in earning her title match, giving the champion a good warm up before her upcoming title match.
In the second title match of the night Trish Adora challenged the ROH Women’s World Television Champion Red Velvet for her TV Title.
Trish Adora went in hard, hitting The TV Champ from the back, the front and all areas dominating her through out the match, at the end she failed in her quest to championship success causing her stable member Christyan XO to attack Red Velvet laying her flat on the mat. Only to be saved by the real deal with a steel chair. A strong showing from all women involved!
In the main event the It Girl Maya World had her long awaited title match against the forever ROH World Women’s Champion, Athena, this time all on her own.
Athena showed her “appreciation” of Maya with every kick and every punch inside and outside of the ring.
Maya fought back with everything she got taking the champ to the limit, and after some interference from M.I.T Athena hit Maya with the belt finishing things up for good with the O face!
