The forever ROH Women’s World Champion Athena will be defending the title next Saturday on AEW’s Collision. Her opponent will be one of AEW’s newest signees, Alexa Windsor.
Windsor, who has appeared for AEW prior, is officially All Elite. She made her Collision debut on Saturday in a win against Taya Valkyrie. Post match, Athena appeared to dismiss Windsor before calling out Toni Storm. Storm responded and chased after Athena. Athena won the Casino Gauntlet match at All In and has a future title shot against Storm.
Elsewhere on Collision, Megan Bayne defeated Tay Melo. And in a vignette for The Conglomeration Willow Nightingale said she had a score to settle with Kris Statlander. Statlander responded in a backstage interview says they are former friends and if Willow hits her, she of course is going to hit her back.
