One-half of the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Roxanne Perez had a scary situation come from online threats in the month of June. The threats were making their way around social media which included the life of Perez, her alleged address, and gave a countdown to when the harm would take place.
General Manager of Raw Adam Pearce did post on the platform at the time that the threats were being taken seriously and being handled.
Perez has now spoken out saying that she feels very safe with WWE in what they have done for her during this time.
While speaking with San Antonio Express News, Perez said the following.
“I always heard about these stories but I never really expected them to happen, especially so soon. The situations like that can be very scary and I think that people should take these things seriously and I think that people should be very careful with what they post online because you don’t know how it can affect other people… WWE does a great job at protecting us and regardless of whatever’s posted online or whatever threats happened online, WWE has the best security in the world. So, yeah, I feel very safe with the WWE.” [Fightful/Transcript]
Perez is just one of many WWE talent’s that have been targeted so far this year. Others have been Asuka, Liv Morgan, and a break in happened in Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins’ beach home.
