It has been a year this month since Roxanne Perez had officially joined the main roster of WWE from the NXT brand. The former two-time NXT Women’s Champion has been placed with one of the biggest factions in wrestling over the past few years, The Judgment Day. Since her call up, she has held tag team gold with Raquel Rodriguez.
While speaking with Complex Sports, Perez describes the Royal Rumble she was in prior to her official call up in 2025 as the point where she realized she was meant for the main roster.
“Honestly, I think that moment for me was the Royal Rumble in 2025 where I outlasted every other woman in the Royal Rumble. And I was the last two standing with the queen herself, Charlotte Flair.
Unfortunately, I was eliminated, but as I sat there and watched her celebrate, I just realized…I was 23 years old at the time. I’m standing in the ring with Charlotte Flair, a 15 time, 14 time World Champion. This is exactly where I belong.”
Perez continues to work on the Raw brand weekly.
