Ruby Soho Victorious On AEW Dynamite With Assist From Britt Baker

Ruby Soho wins big on AEW Dynamite.

As announced earlier on Wednesday, Britt Baker is injured and was not medically cleared to compete in the advertised three-way against Ruby Soho and Toni Storm. Nevertheless, Soho still battled Storm in a grudge match after the attack on Willow Nightingale last week.

Soho laid in her strikes early, but Storm knocked her out of the ring with a vicious hip attack. After the commercial break, Soho gained control until Storm went down with an apparent nose injury. It was all a rouse, though, as Storm pulled Soho into the ropes before connecting with a big German suplex.

Just when it appeared that Storm had the win, Britt Baker’s music hit and she posed on the ramp. The brief distraction allowed Soho to score the pinfall victory, although she wasn’t too pleased with Baker’s appearance.

AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter will be in action on Friday’s Rampage when she takes on Emi Sakura in an Eliminator match.
