Is WWE Speed already over?
The show that aired exclusively on the X social media platform may be finished. WWE was taping Speed episodes weekly to air, mostly on Wednesday’s. There has not been a Speed taping for nearly a month, as the last episode aired on July 9. The show has not been officially canceled but there is speculation.
According to the Wrestling Observer,
It appears WWE Speed is gone. They haven’t been taping new episodes and the titles have been forgotten. The deal with X probably expired. Whether it will be renewed or brought back isn’t clear.
Those asked haven’t known one way or the other basically giving the impressions it was so insignificant that nobody has talked about it. There was no official word one way or the other.
The current WWE Women’s Speed Champion is Sol Ruca who defeated the inaugural champion, Candice LeRae in April. Ruca had been the only champion, man or woman to show off the Speed Championship regularly on WWE TV.
For what it’s worth, the Speed Champions are still listed on the officially WWE.com website.
