WWE Superstar Sasha Banks is up for an Emmy for her role in the Star Wars spin-off, The Mandalorian.
Banks is in the final-round ballots for the 73rd annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
Banks is up for a nomination at the Emmy Awards for Outstanding Guest Actress In A Drama Series for her role in the Disney+ series The Mandalorian.
The nomination reads as;
“Mercedes Varnado returns as Mandalorian Koska Reeves on a mission with Bo-Katan to rescue the Mandalorian’s companion Grogu.”
Banks plays Koska Reeves, a member of an elite Mandalorian unit within the Dark Watch known as The Nite Owls. Reeves became an instant fan-favourite due to her cool demeanour and badass fight with Boba Fett.
Sasha Banks will find out if she is officially nominated on July 13, after members of the Television Academy cast their votes in the final-round ballots.
In true Sasha Banks style, she isn’t waiting for next month. ‘The Boss’ is already celebrating and can’t wait to show her statue to Vince McMahon.
Earlier this year, Lucas Film included her in the “For Your Considerations” Emmys poster for The Mandalorian.
Sasha Banks was last seen in WWE at WrestleMania 37. ‘The Blueprint’ made history with Bianca Belair when they wrestled in the ‘Show of Shows’ main event.
