Shida and Statlander Continue Their Success; Hayter Beats Blue and Sends a Warning

It’s a double dose of both AEW Dynamite and Collision tonight as the shows collide for this three-hour event.

Mina Shirakawa and Harley Cameron will take on the team of Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander. With a lot of conflicted emotions going on heading into this match, Shirakawa does what she can to get the wrath back in action.

Both Shirakawa and Statlander start the match, as Statlander loses her balance against Shirakawa. Shida makes the hard tag in, but Cameron wants her piece at Shida. Shida wants no part of Cameron as Statlander takes her on.

Shida and Statlander are all over Shirakawa, and as Shirakawa gets planted on the middle rope, Statlander suplexes Shida right onto Shirakawa’s head.

Shirakawa finally makes the hot tag out to Cameron as she takes on Statlander, but as shemakes the tag back in she gets caught on the top rope. Shida miscues and knees Statlander, and this allows for Cameron to take advantage. Cameron is ready to put out Shida, but Statlander puts a stop to it. Shida lands the Falcon Arrow on Cameron and picks up the win.

The TBS Champion, Willow Nightingale, is backstage and reminds everyone about the legacy of the title and TBS Founder, Ted Turner, who passed away today at age 87. As the reigning champion representing the network, she has nine defenses up her belt and dares anyone to step up to the challenge.

Jamie Hayter and Skye Blue are set to go one-on-one tonight. The Triangle of Madness has been causing havoc on the division as of late, and Hayter looks to knock Blue upside her head to teach her a lesson.

The two brawl towards the apron, and Blue finds an advantage by dropping her on the apron and sending her into the barricade.

Hayter fights back with a loaded German Suplex, but can’t take her out. Blue tries to put it away with a Code Blue, but Hayter kicks out as they soon clash.

Both trade strikes on the tope rope, but it soon backfires on Blue as Hayter lands a Hayterade from the top rope to pick up the win.

Julia Hart and the AEW Women’s World Champion appear from the crowd. Despite their appearance, Hayter promises to do more damage to Blue if they get closer.
