SHIMMER announces its first show back in 2020

It was reported last week that SHIMMER was ready to come back from their hiatus due to the ongoing health pandemic. SHIMMER’s last show was in November as they were planning to have their next volumes completed in April in Tampa, Fla. Since that did not occur as a result of COVID, they are now ready to start again. Unfortunately, they are not able to start back at their home in Berwyn, Ill. but they will be hosting their show in Indianapolis, Ind.

This will take place at GCW’s The Collective which will house several shows from several different promotions from Oct. 9 to 11. SHIMMER’s show will be on Oct. 11 at 4 p.m. at the Marion County Fairgrounds. For those that are not local, this show will be available on Fite TV.

Although we do not know what the official match-ups on the card will be, all championships will be on the line. The current champions with the company are as follows:

SHIMMER Champion – Kimber Lee

Heart of SHIMMER Interim Champion – Hyan

SHIMMER Tag Team Champions – Team Sea Stars (Ashley Vox & Delmi Exo)

All three champions won their titles in November. Lee ended Nicole Savoy‘s longest SHIMMER Champion reign in a Fatal 4-way that also included Shotzi Blackheart and Priscilla Kelly. Hyan became the interim Heart of SHIMMER Champion by defeating Holidead. An interim champion had to be chosen as Samantha Heights is out due to injury. Lastly, Team Sea Stars captured the tag titles from the veteran team of Mercedes Martinez and Cheerleader Melissa.

Check back in to Diva Dirt as the matches for the card are announced.
