SHINE 24 on iPPV this Friday: Mia Yim vs. Santana for the SHINE Championship & More

SHINE Wrestling returns this Friday to the Orpheum in Ybor City, Florida for SHINE 24, with a sensational championship match heading the bill.

With former champion Ivelisse suspended by SHINE’s VP of talent relations Lexie Fyfe following her actions at last month’s show, and rightful number one contender Nevaeh not medically cleared to compete, a path has been serendipitously forged for Santana Garrett, newly-returned to the SHINE family after a several-month detour as Brittany in TNA, to face Mia Yim for the SHINE Championship.

Also, SHINE Tag Team Champions Legendary (Malia Hosaka and Brandi Wine) will team up with their newest disciple Thunderkitty to take on the team of the Kimber Bombs (Kimber Lee and Cherry Bomb) and Leah Von Dutch, who will be looking to exact revenge on their opponents after two questionable defeats in tag and singles action respectively at SHINE 23 in December.

Commenting on the match to Diva Dirt, Cherry Bomb said, “Legendary shouldn’t have messed with the Kimber(Leah) Bombs….if they think they are going to cheat this time around they are seriously losing their mind.”

If that wasn’t enough, the Kimber(Leah) Bombs have put together a poster “honoring” their opponents:

Meanwhile, the remaining three announced matches see Valkyrie’s members in action, as Allysin Kay faces Athena in what could well be the sleeping giant of the show, Taylor Made looks to expand on her good run of momentum since returning to regular SHINE competition as she goes up against SHINE debutante Jessica James, and Su Yung‘s inescapable descent into darkness continues as she takes on Leva Bates.

More matches are expected to be announced, with the likes of BTY (Marti Belle and Jayme Jameson, accompanied by SoCal Val), Solo Darling, Amber Gallows and Amanda Rodriguez all set to appear.

SHINE 24 takes place on Friday at the Orpheum in Ybor City, Florida at 9pm Eastern (2am GMT), and will be broadcast live on iPPV. Click here to order the show.

If you can’t watch, keep your eyes peeled to Diva Dirt, where we’ll be bringing live coverage.
